First of all it is located on the opposite side of Island Estates from those facing Clearwater Beach and it has low-rise buildings (3 stories) on a canal with one of the residential homes streets on the other side, and the buildings themselves don’t face the water so the waterviews you will have for the most part are to the side. In addition, this is a 55+ complex.
But because of all of that, you will find that these condos are much more affordable than in almost any other complex on Island Estates or even all of Clearwater Beach. For example, at the time I’m writing this there is only one condo in there for sale and it is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo with 1090 sq. ft. listed for $139,900. Plus the fees are much lower than for almost any other complex on Island Estates.
The complex also has a heated pool and hot tub, fishing dock and has elevators (not common in 3 story condo buildings).
Fees are in the $470 range and include Building Exterior, Cable, Community Pool, Escrow Reserves, Flood Insurance, Ground Maintenance, Building Insurance, Roof, Trash Removal, Water/Sewer
Cats and birds are allowed but not dogs.
Rentals are allowed but must be at least 90 days and must comply with the 55+ community rules.
